The temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This is a fantastic monument. It's position, it's layering, the magnificient statues, etc. Everything about it is awe inspiring. There is, like at most of the monuments in Egypt, a great sense of history. Standing there in temperatures in excess of 45 C, there was nowhere else in the world I would rather have been !
