This composite image is of the Temple of Isis at Philae. The temple was one of those removed after the construction of the Aswan dam. It was an incredible feat of engineering by which an artificial island was created (or least a smaller one enlarged) and the temple moved in chunks and rebuilt. It is quite difficult to tell where the joins are.
It is a beautiful island and a beautiful temple. At night, with the sound and light show, it is incredibly atmospheric and one of my favourite places.
