The rain had been lashing down all morning as I drove towards Sandwick at the opposite end to Pooley Bridge. As I drove up the steep hillside the rain stopped. I Pulled over and quickly took a handful of shots of the lake dashing back into the car as the heavens opened again. Even rainy days can be beautiful in this area.
